Bought this go-kart along with the Daytona, both well built go-karts with the ability to dis-engage the pedals so they can free-wheel. both took about 30 minutes to assemble. Quick delivery, ordered Tuesday morning, received Wednesday lunchtime. 19th Sep, 2011

Yes it can, it has a nice thick tread for off-roading.

How many gears does it have?

Forward and reverse by pedalling, the lever is used for free-wheeling when disengaged.

Can you ride pedal go karts on the streets or does it have to be parks or private land?

No, they are not street legal only parks and private land.
